Environmental Protection

The environment is this whole surrounding around you where you and many other living beings breath and live. In other words, take the environment as a huge bubble of the atmosphere where different biological beings stay together for survival and interact with each other. This is one of the easiest and crystal clear definition to understand the true meaning of the environment. Obviously when it comes for survival then Environmental protection is really necessary to survive together.Global WarmingAs time is passing, humans have been making certain developments that were necessary for their comfort more like extravagance rather than necessity. So, if you would have understood the definition of environment then it clearly tells us that this whole place is meant for mutual survival, not merely the survival of one of the species. Now when humans have developed different objects which added luxury to their lives, they have disrupted the balance of the ecosystem hence not only endangering the…

What is holding you back from being who you truly are?

A brightly colored wall painted on a street which says,'believe'

1)Lack of Self-belief

Nothing holds you back more than your own insecurities, It is just like a termite which damages the wood from within. It stops you from discovering your own strengths because of your failure to try. Self-belief is the first step you need to take before succeeding in any field, after all, you cannot make the world believe you until you believe yourself. Lack of self-belief forces you to second guess your decisions. You feel reluctant to take action. You feel uncomfortable in your own skin. When a lack of confidence spins out of control, it can really affect your quality of life. And knowing where your doubts and fears come from is the first step in reclaiming the power that’s naturally and inherently yours. You need to stop doubting yourself by first believing in your strengths and you need to listen to people around you who say, “Believe in yourself”, I cannot stress more on how important this is. Whenever you feel that you have no potential or drive to carry forward think about how you are being a victim of your own thoughts and how damaging this is. It is holding you back from your true potential, your dreams, and the skills you can build if only you believe. People are like stained-glass windows, they sparkle when there is light but when darkness sets, the only ones from light within can outshine.

As rightfully said by Eleanor Roosevelt, Future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.

2)Peer pressure

At times people get influenced by their surroundings so much that they shape themselves in the way society wants them to be and as a result they lose their sense of identity. This pressure might transform you into someone you are not and often people dive so deep into that character that it becomes even harder to get back to who they truly were. Whenever you feel like you are being more of them and a less of you, just have a quick reminder of your deeply held values, your priorities and your don’ts, this will give you a fair idea of whether it is worth following the trend or sticking to your own values.

3) fear of criticism

This fear is due to the people around you for no reason, consider themselves as the judge of your life, and every time you make a move it is scrutinized carefully to pass on the final verdict of approval or disapproval. Now, this act is to be despised at all times but unfortunately, most of us do it. Having an opinion about certain things is fine but using that to let someone down and stop them from being who they are or doing something that they love is ridiculous. One needs to learn to keep that shit they blabber to themselves hence not to use it to poison other people’s day. Now the people who have to suffer because of the inability of others to shut their mouths, Now, to be honest, it is not something people with lack of self-belief have to suffer it is something everyone has to suffer but people with high morale and self-esteem find that blabbering as an opportunity to have more reasons to do something they are held back from. In life, you cannot close every mouth but know that it automatically will when you do something that they believe you can.

In a nutshell,

“Do not let arrogance go to your head and despair to your heart; do not let compliments go to your head and criticisms to your heart; do not let success go to your head and failure to your heart.”
Roy T. Bennett,

4) fear of failure

As rightfully said by Paulo Coelho, ”One day you will wake up and there will be no time left to do the things you always wanted to do so do it now”. Fear of failure stops you from even trying. It makes you a coward in your own eyes. It is important to remember that you cannot win every race or battle as the final say lies above in the skies as after all every hard work you put in cannot lead you to desired results, now since you don’t know which one will so keep trying until you get there. The fear of losing things in life will result in you losing them anyway. Think of fear as the stopping force or perhaps a repelling one which increases the distance between your goal and actually achieving it.

5)life experiences

Often hard times, events, and traumas of life can make you a little more cautious and doubtful about your decisions. Now being cautious is good to some extent not when it stops you from doing what you actually aspire for. Don’t let your past define your future, Don’t let the demons within you cut your wings and never hold yourself back from things you stand for. I get it life is hard and at times we suffer without much of our own fault by circumstances that surround us but always remember that the last call will always be yours so decide what your response should be for the situations you are stuck in, life will always give you this choice.

So we end on the famous quote by Paulo Coelho, ”If you truly want something then the entire will conspire in helping you to achieve it.” Finding yourself and your values is what will help you decide what you truly want from life as surely you cannot achieve anything without knowing what you want. Once you decide what you truly want, think of anything that stops you from getting it like an obstacle that you have to outrun to get what you truly believe in.

A Journey to Self-Care

What is self-care?Self-care is any necessary human regulatory function which is under individual control, deliberate and self-initiated.It is about valuing yourself, giving yourself a break, and accepting who you are. It is about knowing that it is okay to fall but at the same time having the belief that you deserve better and that better is something you can get for yourself only. So since you only have the key to the door of your dreams shouldn’t you take care of yourself as surely if the person with the key was someone else you would have done whatever it takes, for them to hand that key to you.Why is self-care important? It helps raise one’s self-esteem and self-confidence. It prepares one to face the world with a brighter smile as you know what your strengths are and what is it that you need to work on. Most importantly it helps you to understand yourself as after all you cannot understand the world until you understand yourself. Nowadays, people have a preoccupied life where usua…

Teens In a Dilemma Of What Is Right And What Is Wrong

A teenager, or teen, is a person who falls within the ages of 13 to 19 years old. The word "teenager" is often associated with adolescence. However the World Health Organization considers anyone between the ages of 10 and 21 to be an adolescent, and most neurologists consider the brain still developing into the early third decade (early 20s). After the 20th birthday, one is no longer a teenager. However, neural plasticity continues, as the brain and particularly the prefrontal cortex (PFC) develop further.
When typical teen behavior becomes troubled teen behavior
As teenagers begin to assert their independence and find their own identity, many experience behavior changes that can seem, bizarre and unpredictable to parents. Your sweet and obedient child who once couldn’t bear to be separated from you, now won’t be seen within 20 yards of you, and greets everything you say with the roll of the eyes or the slam of a door. As difficult as this can be for parents to endure, they ar…

How to know your worth?

Self-worth means that you value yourself, and you have a sense of self-value which means that you are worthy. Self-worth is defined by Merriam-Webster as:“A feeling that you are a good person who deserves to be treated with respect”.Here are five of the top factors that people use to measure and compare their own self-worth to the worth of others:1.Appearance—whether measured by the number on the scale, the size of clothing worn, or the kind of attention received by others;2.Net worth—this can mean income, material possessions, financial assets, or all of the above;3.Who you know/your social circle—some people judge their own value and the value of others by their status and what important and influential people they know;4.What you do/your career—we often judge others by what they do; for example, a stockbroker is often considered more successful and valuable than a janitor or a teacher;5.What you achieve—as noted earlier, we frequently use achievements to determine someone’s worth (…
